K-12 Cybersecurity Act of 2021
On October 8, 2021, Joe Biden signed the bipartisan K-12 Cybersecurity Act of 2021 into law.
It authorizes the director of the United States Cybersecurity and Infrastructure
Agency (CISA) to spend the next 120 days studying cybersecurity risks to K-12
schools then the following 60 days to create an online toolkit to help school
officials combat those risks.
By April of 2022, you will be able to access a toolkit on the Department of Homeland Security’s website that will help you mitigate cybersecurity risks in your district.
